These heaters have no thermostat and will rapidly bring solutions to a boil. Their design allows them to fit right down into the solutions, eliminating problems hanging glass heaters over the tank edge. They won't break or shatter like glass heaters and heat up much faster. Because they have no thermostat, they should only be used when the solution requires boiling.

Add a thermostat to these heaters and control up to 3 heaters between 110 deg F and 140 deg F.

This combination of heater and controller are now our preferred way of heating most tanks, as the thermostat is outside the tank, where corrosive chemicals cannot attack it. This controller and 300W heater combination now comes with most of our plating kits.

The controller comes with a temperature sensor that needs to be immersed in liquid. Ensure that you mount the sensor as far from the heater as possible, to get an accurate reading.
