Our new bronze plating system provides a beautiful,
rich bronze finish without any dangerous cyanides or
other hazardous chemicals. The coating is suitable for
decorative applications.
It will plate over Zinc Castings, Pot Metal, Pewter,
Electroless Nickel, Plated Nickel, Copper, Steel, Sintered
Metal, Tin, Lead, Stainless Steel and Zincated Aluminum.
It is recommended to activate Zinc Castings, Lead and
Pot Metal in Pickle #4 prior to plating.
The bronze plating solution comes pre-mixed and ready
to use. Plate with stainless steel anodes at 80°F,
with 3V and 0.07 Amps per Square Inch.
A 2-3 minute plating time provides a good color, which
may then be clear coated for corrosion resistance. If
buffing the bronze plate is required, plating time should
be increased to 30-40 minutes.
